Them is some awesome Zour Apples

I've been smoking pot for well over two decades at this point in my life. However, as legalization started happening across the country, weed is becoming more than just something you smoke to "get high". Because of the commercial success of this wonderful plant since it's become legal, a great deal of science and money has flowed into the newest kid on the agribusiness block. This means that we are seeing new strains come out, and a true connoisseur market is forming. Not only is smoking marijuana about getting high, for many, but it's also about subtle lemon tangs vs. peppery aftertaste. Taste, fragrance, and effect are all measured and weighed by the consumer, as each person discovers which strain of marijuana works best for them.

Whereat one time you had to rely mostly on knowing someone who knew someone in order to get good herb, now, in many places, it's as simple as driving to the nearest dispensary and ordering from a menu. As I have experienced more strains and realized that they really are all different, I decided that it might be a fun journey to catalog my experiences with various strains. While I am not going to claim to be some expert on all things related to marijuana, I do use weed on a daily basis and the growing complexity of being a marijuana user seems like something other people might enjoy reading about. It's my hope that each time I try a new strain I think to write a bit about it. This is the first post, and I will be talking about a strain called Zour Apples.

I have to be honest, I picked up some Zour Apples, simply because I loved the name. Where normally I try to find information on what I can expect from a strain that's new to me, I happened to see the name and figured I may as well. I am happy to report that I absolutely love this strain. It gives me a nice cerebral experience that encourages creative thinking, while also allowing me to maintain enough focus to be productive. I enjoy the body buzz it gives me and I find the strain is pretty energizing. If there is one thing I had to ding Zour Apples for is that it's a bit bland in the taste and aroma category. If I were to rate this strain on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a solid 7.5. I don't know if Zour Apples is one I would buy any time I saw it, but it would be one I would buy if some of my other favorites weren't available.

Matanuska Thunder Fuck lives up to its name

I have to admit, I am always a bit skeptical of any strain that has a bigger than life name. In my experience strains that have names like ...
